The core group was Lenny White on drums ( Miles, Return to Forever) Barry "Sonjohn" Johnson on Bass and lead vocals, Eddie Martinez(Run DMC's Kimg Of Rock, Rock Box ) on Guitar, along with Nicky Moroch, Don Blackman(of Don Blackman fame, ) on Keys and Synths and vocals, Skip Martin(Keys), and Carla Vaughn on vocals...along with guests like Dee Dee Bridgewater, Dave Grusin, Larry Dunn (Earth Wind and Fire), Bernard Wright, and Denzil Miller on keys.... Best Of Friends Peanut Butter Morning Sunrise Movin' On My Melody ... [Edited 8/16/08 15:59pm] " I've got six things on my mind --you're no longer one of them." - Paddy McAloon, Prefab Sprout | |
