Trenyce: Best American Idol Singer Ever!

Trenyce has almost ruined me for any other American Idol singer. As a matter of fact I haven't religiously watched since the benchmark season known as season 2.
Listen to this for proof:

I agree with you 100%, but being that as it may, I was an addicted, mindless monkey who got a high off the "drama" of this show when it first came on. It drove me nuts and I loved it, until I woke up.

I did not, do not and never will like Simon Cowell. I cannot think of a more worthless celebrity, and that includes Tiffany "New York" Pollard and Perez Hilton! I know there's people like this in the music industry. So what?

I loved Trenyce.

That being said, no one comes close to Tamyra IMO. She's the best contestant hands down.

You think?

I used to love her, until Trenyce came along. Then Kelly Clarkson's voice matured and THEN Elliot Yamin came out. Tamyra battles for number three on my list with Clarkson.

Yes, I'm actually seriously discussing American Idol. Pinch me please...

I think Trenyce and Tamyra both had landmark moments on the show. Trenyce's version of "Let's Stay Together" is still one of my favorite Idol moments. Tamyra's "A House Is Not A Home" is also one of my favorite moments from the show.

With that being said, I was so disappointed when Tamyra's debut cd came out. I thought it was very weak and sounded like a teenager trying to sing adult songs. I heard that the record company wanted Tamyra's debut album to contain more urban songs, but that wasn't the route she wanted to take. I even think that most of Fantasia's debut cd was supposed to be Tamyra's cd.

I haven't seen or heard from Trenyce since she did the E. Lynn Harris play. I heard she was very good in the play. I hope that she does something musically, but she's good at the stage thing also.

OTOH, I couldn't have been more pleased with Tamyra's album. I absolutely love it. The thought that she could've recorded some of the crap on Fantasia's album makes me appreciate her decision even more. I'm glad she stuck to her guns (like her idol Prince) and kept control over her music. It wasn't as successful as it probably would've been, but I appreciate her integrity. The Dreamer is one of my top 5 albums of 2004. music

I, too, am glad she stuck to her guns. I just hate they didn't promote it properly. Though I didn't care for it, I thought there were some decent trax that could have been hit singles.
