Dionne Farris - "Passion"

I love the bassline and those angelic harmonies at the beginning are simply beautiful

I saw her perform this live--here in Atlanta around 2004 -- with a newer version!

It was just as good.

The guitar player wasn't Tori Ruffin, but he was very, very good. he created his own solo for the song as well---nice. I liked that.

Her new version of "I Know" and "Black bird" were hard rock funk versions as well..

She and/or her band director changes-up arrangements sort of like Prince.

It was also refreshing (at the time) to see a woman singer, or any entertainer move, and dance with the music, and not use choreography.

Her band was tight.

If I am not mistaken, I believe that she is working on an album. It is due out soon.

This is my absolute favorite track on Dionne's debut.

Never knew there was a video for it. Thank goodness for YouTube, I would've never seen it otherwise.
