DustyGroove How many of you buy music from this amazing site?
http://dustygroove.com/ Someone recommeded this site to me and I've already bought some rare R&B and funk that I had been searching for.Just yesterday,I ordered the second album by BB&Q Band on CD...containing the 1982 hit "Imagination". I can't believe how much rare stuff they have! I also bought the first album by Lost Generation, containing the 1970 hit "The Sly,Slick and the Wicked".

I've ordered a bunch of stuff from them, including some rare CDs and back issues of Waxpoetics magazine.
They have a great collection of CDs and some interesting reissue LPs. Their used LPs, are unfortunately, usually in pretty bad shape, at least the ones I've seen. Nevertheless, a very cool site It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Yeah,it looks like you ordered the last Brighter Side of Darkness CD that they had in stock, lol. They have a great collection of CDs and some interesting reissue LPs. Their used LPs, are unfortunately, usually in pretty bad shape, at least the ones I've seen.
I'm glad you told me this. When I go on my vinyl digs,I always inspect the vinyl before I buy it.Gotta make it's sure it's not scratched. When I buy records on Ebay,I always look for sealed,un-opened copies.I guess I'll have to do the same at DustyGroove.

Yea, the used ones I've seen there, are always like VG condition, and the descriptions are always like "Cover worn, taped seam, marker writing on cover" and shit like that It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Looks like a pretty good site. The only site I've ever ordered anything from though is Amazon because I've always been told it is pretty safe with the credit card numbers. I always worry about someone getting access to my info and fucking me up. Andy is a four letter word.

According to their website, Dusty Groove has been around for 12 years. Do you think they'd still be around if they kept fucking people over? I'm not talking about Dusty Groove itself fucking people over. I worry about some of these computer geeks online who may be able to find access to their confidential files somehow. With a huge company like Amazon, I would assume it would be harder for them to get into their files. I remember when I ordered my turntables back in 2001. I saw what I wanted on a site and then I called a toll free 800 phone number they had and ordered them by phone. I just felt safer that way. Of course, years afterwards, the damn telemarketers started calling my damn house and I would have to cuss them out. Andy is a four letter word.

I'm aware of Dusty Grooves but i've never used their services yet.
Three companies that I have done business with via the internet/phone/email are Records By Mail, The House Of Oldies & Flipside Records. Records By Mail lets you create a "Want List" for titles they don't initially have. They claim Over 2 million fine vinyl records in stock!. The House of Oldies is a store I frequented in person as a kid growing up in NYC. By email/phone they came up with a rather rare title... ...for me a couple of years ago. They claim over 1,000,000 records in stock. Flipside Records also came through in the clutch... ...with something I was jonesing for. Their claim is 2 million records in stock. Their site is very well organized and all LPs have "condition" ratings. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I'm also familiar with 'Records By Mail', they have an ebay store, which I checked out. Their prices are absolutely ridiculous. Good for reissued CDs, new compilations, and reissued vinyl.
Yeah the used vinyl is often "VG" so I wouldn't bother unless I could inspect myself at the store.
