Decent joint. I'm glad she's not singing with that hoarse tone she had throughout "Afrodisiac", lol.

Yep. It is now being put through a processor. She sounds like a female Rodney Jerkins... I'm sorry, but it does nothing for me. I have not liked anything that she has done since her debut. Now that's a great album!!

I love Afrodisiac, but I think Never Say Never is even better. I enjoy all of her albums -- Full Moon is probably my least favorite, but it's pretty good. I'm ready for this new album! woot!

I never could stand her. She's like a Shitney Jr. I did enjoy her in that horror movie though. I kept hoping to see the killer slash her but I didn't get that lucky. lol

Pretty forgettable. And that Darkchild announcement in the beginning makes me cringe. Still looking forward to hearing other songs tho.

Not impressed. Sounds like some Rhianna "Umbrella" type of jam.
I will take a pass on this one.

I feel the same as you. Never Say Never is an amazing project. The songs tell a great love story. Afrodisiac is also good and so is the debut. I'm not crazy about Full Moon, but it does have some decent songs on it.

This new track is very "pop" sounding. It almost sounds like a J-Lo or Pink song.

Don't like those artificially enhanced vocals. And someone needs to tell Darkchild that advertising who produced the track is outdated. Makes the track sound like it's a decade old.

Not bad. Considering the state of the music industry today, i can
live with this coming from brandy. The minute she starts doing songs
with t-pain or nelly then she goes on my shit list.
Interesting she goes running back to rodney jerkins after she ripped
him in vibe magazine back in 04 about giving her sound to other female
artists and she was hyping up timbaland giving her a new fresh sound
for aphrodisiac. A few of the songs on the album were okay but her
working with timbaland was scraping the bottom of the barrel. The song
with kanye on that album was the best imo.

Really? I dig "Talk About Our Love" (it's actually one of my favorite things from Kanye), but "Who Is She to U" is my favorite. "I Tried" and "Who I Am" are up there as well. I think I might have to spin Aphrodisiac now.

Never liked Brandy at all, something about her always just annoyed the crap out of me.

In L.A. during drive-time listening to Power 106 when they premiered Brandy's new single. The D.J. (Felle-fel?) gave it this "glowing" endorsement: "I'm not mad at that song."

Wifey liked it - I was not moved one way or the other.

Famtastic song, and thank God pop is back in the US mainstream in a big way. It looks like she has label support this time out. I hope it hits #1.

Song is OK... doesn't stand out, but who knows how it will rank as a single.
We'll see when the whole CD comes out if she can launch a real come back.
