Can anyone recommend me some blues songs similar to "The Ride"? I've been listening to Prince's "The Ride" and also Jesse Johnson's "Bring Your Love Down Hard On Me" lately... I love both those tunes and was wondering what style of blues music they were inspired by...?

Can anyone recommend me any artists who make blues like this? [Edited 8/13/08 4:55am] look for Robert Cray - this guy really is the blues (imho) ...in particular the tracks "the welfare turns its back on you" and "the score"-let me know how you get on with them
