Im noticing a "trend" with the RRHOF, just by looking at these artists who arent in yet

One would be HEART the next would be CHICAGO and another Hall and Oates. And the trend would be.....80's Hate! better yet, 70's groups that kept going and got "commercial" in the 80's. Since the RR is voted by writers, these groups and others like Journey,Styx etc...are targets for all that kind of hate. I honestly think that if Chicago and Heart broke up in the late 70's before ballads came in or what fools call "corporate rock" (folks its all corporate), i think Heart and Chicago would be in. As for Hall and Oates, well theres another kind of bias/hate going on there.

Well noticing the fact that there is an agenda to keep these artists out, not just an oversight of them, an effort to keep them out.

They can't induct everyone that has been around for 25 years.

If it's simply isolated to "80's Hate", explain this conspicuous absence...

Its not that, its 70's artists, like Chicago, heart,Moody Blues etc..that continued and had hits in the 80's, some ballads, but different then what they did in the 70's, there seems to be a "organized" effort to keep them out

A lot of the great acts from the '50s, '60s and '70s need to have been inducted YEARS ago but haven't for some odd and begotten reason.

eek That's crazy but unfortunately like most awards these days, I'm beginning to take the RRHOF with a grain of salt. sad

a lot of these acts arent inducted cuz maybe they dont have any lasting cultural or influential legacy. but you're right...not having Black Sabbath in there is sacrilege.

The RRHOF has no credibility in my book.
