I only know it's from there cause of reading the credits in Song Review which I also have LOL And just so you know, I played songs again earlier and liked it even better than the first time, which is what lead to today's purchases. You're missing some good songs from In Square Circle (like "I Love You Too Much" and "Go Home"), but those can wait when you don't have tracks like "Please Don't Go," "You Haven't Done Nothin'" (seriously, who the hell allowed them to leave a #1 hit -- with the Jackson 5, no less -- off that compilation), "Heaven Must Be 10 Zillion Light Years Away," "Cash in Your Face," "Rocket Love," "Superwoman/Where Were You When I Needed You," "I Love Everything About You," "If You Really Love Me," "Look Around," etc. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I remember buying HIStory and Design of a Decade, and then wanting the janet. CD cause If and some others were missing, but I loved the whole thing so much and wanted more and more; and I got Dangerous and Bad for the missing songs from HIStory too and fell in love with the other tracks. That's what happened with songs in the key of life too I think LOL [Edited 8/14/08 16:28pm]

In Square Circle and Characters are nice albums, but they aren't in the same league with those others. FFF and MOMM are. Unless you're just going to buy everything right now, I'd buy the more essential albums first if I were you. Just sayin'... "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I saw so many copies of the In Square Circle album and I was wondering whether I should purchase it or not. 'Part Time Lover' and 'Overjoyed' has been in my head constantly, but I already have those songs on various compilations. How are the other songs? Check me out and add me on:

"I Love You Too Much" is probably my favorite track (along with "Overjoyed"). "Go Home" (his last big pop hit) and "Stranger on the Shore of Love" are also good. The rest is pleasant if unspectacular (particularly by his standards). "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I think Talking Book was more exciting to listen to, there are awesome grooves on there. Innervisions was awesome lyrically and had good harmonies too. Will post more later.

In Square Circle is a good album, but like Alex said, pick up the essentials first, then get that one. All of Stevie's albums are great. The only one I MIGHT steer clear of is Conversation Peace. It's not THAT bad, but it doesn't compare to the to the releases prior to it. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

It's definitely the very last one a collector should buy. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

"I Love You Too Much" is my favorite song on 'In Square Circle' too I always thought that it would have made a strong single. And I agree with you guys about 'Converation Peace'.I tried really hard to get into that album but I couldn't.A few tracks are okay, but most of it puts me to sleep.

I think Stevie even regrets releasing that one. When I hear him on his radio show on Thursdays, he rarely mentions that album. The only time I've heard him mention it is when he interviewed Bobby Brown. He suggested to Bobby that he re-record "Cold Chill". He said he thought the song could be a big hit for him. After listening to it again, I see why Steve referred the song to him, but I still think the album is garbage. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
