went to the pukkelpop festival in Belgium this week-end. It wasn't just the headliners like metallica and manic street preachers that made it a great 3 days for me. On thursday I was lucky enough to fight my way into too small a tent to see a young, relatively new, belgian band called 'freaky age'. I had seen their video on mtv and heard a few of their songs so decided i'd check them out. man did they blow me away. I feared they were just some new teen-pop sensation,...but they tore down the house. Best show of the year for me, hands down! I liked their music before, now i love it!

later i was again lucky enough to fight of a few dozen screaming girls to make it into their signing session. they came across as real nice guys... got a signed cd to prove it.
