I really liked Eaten Alive, but didn't care for Red Hot Rhythm and Blues or Workin' Overtime. Workin' Overtime was a horrible "comeback"/"welcome back to motown" album. Eaten Alive is one of her best dance tunes easily. [Edited 8/5/08 9:42am] **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

1984's 'Swept Away' was truly her last great album. The three that followed were spotty at best.

Eaten Alive had some pretty good tunes such as the Michael Jackson produced title track, Motown throwback Chain Reaction, and one of Diana's most underrated ballads More and More.

Eaten Alive:
Considering I love 80's/90's Bee Gee's, the album "eaten alive" is quite lackluster with too many ballads. Still, the remix of the song "eaten alive" is great fun, and "chain reaction" is a classic (how the fuck did America sleep on that song?) Got her next album, have yet to hear it LOL "workin' overtime": Niles Rodgers is a very versitile producer, but here he gives Diana the same sound he gave Christopher Max a year earlier. Not that that is a bad thing, but its not as good or half as consistant as his album. Infact, bar a few tracks, its pretty poor. I do like the production though, but some of the songs are lackluster. First 4 tracks are great fun though. Seems Niles was more inspired by Mic Murphy and David Frank then say new kid on the block Teddy Riley.

EATEN ALIVE is a lame album. The only track worth a repeated spin is the title track. The rest of it is so lame, even by 1985's standards, I'm surprised it didn't completely kill her career.
