The Temptations - Ol' Man River (1966)



NOTE: The Temptations, with Dennis Edwards, performed a slower, soulful version on "The Temptations Show" in 1969 and they did the performance that way until Melvin's untimely death in 1995.

Its cool they did something different with the song, but Paul Robeson owns it as far as Iam concerned.

I prefer the Temptations version. Melvin Franklin had the perfect, deepest bass voice ever. He is highly underrated.
