In some segments, Boy George is interviewed and gives his thoughts on Diana (positive). This was before he really let himself go!

Funny how six years later, Diana hardly goes in the stage to sing with the audience anymore. It could be the case of "I'm getting too old for this shit", lol.

Anyway, enjoy, if you're a fan or not a fan of La Ross.

I have vague memories of this documentary so thanks for bringing it to my attention once again.

i just saw diana at the hollywood bowl last saturday.

she was slightly hoarse from the night before (she played fri and sat), but she didn't disappoint. she was on for about an hour and a half, i'd say, and had five diva-riffic costume changes! she sang a lot of the motown hits - supreme and solo, some billie holiday, endless love, why do fools fall in love, and did a terrific encore with i will survive. i knew the words to 98% of the songs she sang, and people were on their feet dancing. she didn't say a whole lot, had a diva-esque moment when she accused someone in the band of turning off her mike (too funny!), but put on a good show.

i grew up listening to her, and felt i might not see her ever if i didn't take this opportunity.

next up: donna summer on the 23rd!

I like some of her songs, but she has always come off as the "fake" diva to me.
