I would add Syretta to the list. As well as Minnie Ripperton.

Honey

I know she's not a singer, but is a musician who sings...still, I love her voice - Patrice Rushen.

Karen and Olivia, which you listed, have great voices but I don't know what a pure voice means.
Andy is a four letter word.

I think he means "clean?"

To me, Luther Vandross has one of the great voices, but it's not that pure. Or Louis Armstrong. That's how I interpret it, at least, I'm sure someone will say I'm completely wrong lol

Jeffrey Osborne, Larry Graham, James Brown (Don't laugh, it is)
My list of female vocalists would be rather long, so I won't even start.

I agree with Olivia Newton John, listening to 'Hopelessly Devoted to You' is heaven. Also I think Michael Jackson's voice especially when he first went through puberty. Songs like 'Life Of the Party' and 'Farewell My Summer Love' was his voice at his peak. Very pure.

I agree about MJ. I was listening to the duet with he and Minnie Ripperton and the purity in his voice was amazing. Another great example would be "It's The Falling In Love". (I know he was out of puberty then, but he still had a certain innocence about himself then).
