Black Kids

Have you heard of the band black kids what do you think of them. Personally I think its refreshing to see black people in rock below is a good tune of theres although the lead singer doesnt have sound like Robert smith from the cure.

Umm amazing how nobody has said that they really need to change their stage name. disbelief that's quite offensive, whether they are really "black kids" or not, they need to pick something else.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I know you said its nice to see black kids in music, but these kids really do not look black.

anyways i don't like this kind of rock cause songs like this all sound the same, Same instruments and same melody. I can't get into this kind of stuff. You can't even dance to it or really sing to it.

and i agree with missfee, they probably should change their names.

They don't look black to me either Krazy... more like a Polynesian mix, beautiful face... corny music, keyboardist looks to be a relative.

This must be a European thing because in America, the Blacks here would find it offensive and a bit tacky. I know I do... bad name choice indeed.

If you're gonna call yourselves "Black Kids", at the very least represent properly and be funky as hell. lol

They're alright. I doubt I'd go out and buy their CD, but it does beat radio.

As for the name? I'm reserving judgement. It's not as if they chose a slur for their name. Just "Black Kids". So what if they're not? The Killers aren't real murderers, Ludacris isn't really humourously improbable, and there was no royalty in Queen. Seems to me it's just a name. Besides, for all we know, "Black Kids" could be a reference to something besides race and age anyhow.

Co-Sign. I think we have a case of PC gone mad and two of the kids in the band say they are black.

Good Lord do some of you think The Killers are real killers eek It is a good name that is going to get them attention. I wonder if some of you are missing a key element of Rock and Roll.

To be irreverent and buck wild. Something that is missing now a day in music

I like the name and I like the music. In addition, Def Jam had a rap group full of white kids called “Young, Black Teenagers” no one in the group was black. Therefore, this has been done before.
