Why is Rick Springfield my favorite teen idol Not Donny Osmond, or David Cassidy, not Michael Damien or Leif Garrett. Why is Rick Springfield my favorite teen idol? Was it because I watched General Hospital and loved Dr. Noah Drake? Maybe so..am I the only one?

I liked all the ones mentioned...I LOVED Celebrate Youth, particularly because on more than one occastion when I'd hear it on radio, the song would end and...nothing would happen. That sudden ending always threw the DJ who would sputter back on the air after 6 or 7 seconds..."Whoops HAHA, that always gets me, HAHA, sorry folks.let's get into some Johnny Hates Jazz"!
