Side A of Moving Vioation is flawless. Side A: 1. Forever Came Today (Dozier/Holland/Holland) - 6:24 2. Moving Violation (Beatty/Shaw) - 3:37 3. (You Were Made) Especially For Me (Holland/Smith) - 3:28 4. Honey Love (Holland/Holland/Smith) - 4:40 http://www.youtube.com/wa...Tjhmtl4tCY http://www.youtube.com/wa...UhWGX53X5A http://www.youtube.com/wa...6Y4sbiVE1w Great first side to the J5's last record at Motown from '75. Forever Came Today, thre last single starts if off. When I was younger, I never cared for this track as I always skipped it on Motown Legends. Now, I love it, great production. The title track is great also, that guitar is awesome and the background vocals are superb. (You Were Made) Especially For Me [no youtube] is a killer. I would have been a hit if released as a single. Honey Love is a nice end to Side A. PRINCE: Always and Forever

MV is one of their most consistent albums "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

The only thing that doesn't make this J5's most consistent LP is the track known as TIME EXPLOSION. PRINCE: Always and Forever

slaps SoulAlive What you mean you don't have it? You better get down to Rasputin or Amoeba or something and go pick it up! "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I still feel like all the J5/MJ stuff from 73-75 is underrated. It's always been my favorite period from them. Maybe because I was born during this period and it was literally the first music I was exposed to, having 2 older sisters infected with Jacksonmania. I have this running joke that I came out of the womb sing "Dancing Machine" . I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

Hehe, that's cute. I too feel like this period of MJ/J5 career is highly underrated though. The songs from this period were top notch-just as good as any of their previous work or better. I also really loved how Michael's voice evolved during this period. His voice still wasn't at it's peak yet, but it was still great. [Edited 7/30/08 16:14pm] "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ
"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always

Amazing songs on Skywriter and great production on G.I.T.. "Get It Together" has always been my favorite song by them, Mike doing his best David Ruffin impersonation. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

Best thing about the album was the cover. Sorry guys, but I dont like this sort of pop/rnb. It may not be as contrived as their earlier stuff, but its still pretty medicore to me. .
But, like most j5 albums, theres often 1 or 2 good song buried in the filler. "you were made especially for me" is the only one worthwhile for me. Not great, but OK.
