Beyonce's funky little sister! Solange sounds funkier than her sister. A real classic sound and originality. Watch out Beyonce.

Well its owed to Amerie who really made this sound with her last album, not that its a new sound, but to todays RB it is. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

I've seen the video several times (not sure what channel it was on though, but definitely in those early hours when videos play on VH1. MTV and maybe BET). She isn't a great singer (not that Beyonce is a power vocalist, either) but it's certainly an interesting song and maybe a good album. It's sound and vibe are cool. I like the lyrics.

Really? Which song? VinnyM27 said: (not that Beyonce is a power vocalist, either)
Uh, yeah...she is. The complaint that most o her critics have about her is oversinging. When put to use properly, she's quite the power vocalist. http://www.youtube.com/wa...5shX7tvUCQ She's not "the most" powerful vocalist but she's about on par with Christina Aguilera. She's no Jennifer Holiday but I wouldn't say she's not a power vocalist. Gwen Stefani is what could be called "not a power vocalist". I don't think she could vocally perform a song like "Dangerously In Love". I think its a little unfair to say that Beyoncé is below the curve vocally. Her voice and style may not be to your taste but her skills aren't lacking. Now her dancing? Well, that's another story...
