Yes, it would have been the decent thing to do to sort of kick back his success if his hometown could use the boost and if his town had treated him well. Well, did his hometown treat him well? They were a poor black family! It certainly wasn't "Gary", who gave the Jackson 5 their first record deal! And I don't really see, why he should do anything for a town he left pretty early on... it would be a different story if he would have stayed in Gary all his life, or at least until he reached adulthood! | |

Gary is my hometown and I have great memories of Gary. My parents still live in Aetna, and I look forward to visiting. The 80s were fun times. | |
