Well, did his hometown treat him well? They were a poor black family!

It certainly wasn't "Gary", who gave the Jackson 5 their first record deal! And I don't really see, why he should do anything for a town he left pretty early on... it would be a different story if he would have stayed in Gary all his life, or at least until he reached adulthood!

jbchavez	Gary is my hometown and I have great memories of Gary. My parents still live in Aetna, and I look forward to visiting. The 80s were fun times.
