VainAndy will be happy about this re-issue: The Bar Kays Propositions I was searching through DustyGroove.com this morning and found this. I vaguely remember this album. I'm glad to see that it's finally getting issued. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Went on a vinyl dig yesterday and I came across this album.I almost bought it but I think I'll wait for the CD reissue. It contains the two jams "Do It (Let Me See You Shake)" and "She Talks To Me With Your Body".

'Dangerous' is a good album but it's also a prime example of copycat overkill "Freakshow On The Dancefloor" is a blatant rip-off of Midnight Star's "No Parking On The Dancefloor"....."Dance,Party,Etc" is a blatant rip-off of Prince's "D.M.S.R" and "Dirty Dancer" features the exact same synth hook as Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean".It's a good album though,if you can overlook all that

It was released in 2006 but i guess eventually copies became scarce and amazon went from 9.99 to 20 plus dollars. I bought propositions and confunkshun's 7 for 9.99. I waiting to get nightcruising and hope they release dangerous. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

I've had the vinyl since it was in style and also have it recorded onto CD. If they want to make me happy, they need to put that 12 Inch version of "Do It (Let Me See You Shake)" on there as a bonus track. Andy is a four letter word.

I have a component system and my CD recorder is an actual stereo component rather than someone trying to record a vinyl record into a computer (I had a friend that used to do that and the recordings sounded like they were made from a boom box). My recording thumps just as loud and powerful as the original vinyl. . . [Edited 7/28/08 15:19pm] Andy is a four letter word.

Hell, my 57 year old aunt just got rid of hers a year or so ago. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
