I personally think 'Face was trying to compete with Salt-N-Pepa.  I saw that interview and the funny thing is Whitney's first response was 100% correct. That "shoop, shoop" chorus really lets down what would otherwise be a good song. I think Face had a hard time with that song It seems like he was trying to fit the word "exhale" (or the full title "waiting to exhale") somewhere in it,but couldn't quite figure out how to do it.In the end,he settled for a weak,repetitive chorus that had nothing to do with the rest of the song,lol.This song was the beginning of his decline. | |
