5th Dimension - "One Less Bell to Answer" Entered the charts late 1970 and peaked at #4 (R&B) and #2 (Hot 100). One of their best ballads.

...
One of my favorites by the 5th, and another Bacharach classic!!! ... " I've got six things on my mind --you're no longer one of them." - Paddy McAloon, Prefab Sprout

I wasn't going to mention that part, so as not to inundate the board with those topics

Love this song, but then I've always been a 5th Dimension fan

I LOVE this medley of hits from a 1971 special. Marilyn McCoo is absolutely stunning

i loved the 5th Dimension too! i remember this song actually "debuted" on an old TV show called "It Takes A Thief" starring Robert Wagner. They added 3 notes to the ending of the song and the 3rd note was intended to activate a bomb. i'm sure I just dated myself with this but so what.

Check this out... "One Less Bell" is on it. The rest are other Bacharach masterpieces!
