Pastor Injured, Wife Killed in Wrong Way Crash
July 6, 2008 - 7:24PM A popular gospel singer and reverend was critically injured, and his wife was killed in a wrong-way wreck in central Pennsylvania Friday night on interstate 80. Police say 61-year-old Reverend Timothy Wright was hospitalized along with his 14-year-old grandson after the three-vehicle crash. Wright's Godson says he's in stable condition. A passenger in the third vehicle is in fair condition. Authorities say the driver of the car going the wrong way, who was suspected of being drunk, was killed as well. The church has draped Mrs Wright's chair near the altar with a prayer shawl. She was a co-pastor at the church. | |
