I did not care for U2 until The Unforgettable Fire, a classic for U2. They've done better since then. For me their best two are All That You Can't Leave Behind, and Achtung Baby.I'm not forgetting Joshua Tree, their third and then Unforgettable Fire, then Rattle and Hum.
Back in the day I had a co-worker who talked about U2 and I told him to get back to me when they could play. lol I did like 'Sunday, Bloody Sunday'. Bono was so passionate, even if you didn't know the event he was invoking, you felt how deeply he did. When I heard 'Pride (In The Name Of Love), and was told it was U2, I went and bought the album. I felt that it was there '1999' equivalent, because they were about to go big time. The first time I heard 'With or Without You', I told my best friend it would be a #1 single. He didn't think it could because it was only U2. I guess I can mention I have a live show from Boston. A Dec. 4, 2005 show. It must have been cold, but it's a good show. I bought the overpriced "Joshua Tree" remaster last year, but these are $20 each on CD.
I may have to be on Amazon drunk to actually buy them at that price. I would love to have them though. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |
