it was supposed to drop on the 29th
but stores have gotten it early

she basically gives a lil
bit of her background
and tells her side of what was going on
during the whole Uptown early era
and the Bad Boy takeover

and Mary J had her vocals removed
from the project... so they recalled
every copy that was on shelves
and reissued the album with a solo
version with just Faye

I remember not knowing ANYTHING about this
and rebuying Faith's debut once
(for THIS VERY SONG) only to find out
Mary had been removed... I was LIVID!!!

one part I've covered already
was the making of "Don't Go" (from My Life)
Faye was not sure Mary liked
her contribution to the song or not
(as Mary & Misa came in the studio
Mary recorded her part, and then they left)
later Faye would be watching Video Soul
and Mary was being interviewed
one question was "who did you like at the moment"
or something like that
and she responded "Puffy's working on
this chick name Faith Evans... she's one
to look out for"

so then the next time they were
all together at the studio
Faye was getting ready to leave
Misa stopped her (they had already known each other)
and asked her to hang out with her & Mary
and they went to The Tunnel that night
so at this point it's all love

I'm up to the part where she married BIG
and Ms. Wallace is highly upset! LOL]

this is a good book
go get you one!!!
