See, back in those days when artists remade songs, they made them faster so they could jam to them. Nowadays, it's the exact opposite. These dull asses remake everything slower. I've never seen nothing like it in my life. They had lost all sense of rhythm. And it's not like they like a few things slow. They like everything slow. Andy is a four letter word. | |

I didn't know that anyone else had done it. When I heard the original from Eddie Floyd (which is the one my parents liked), I was bored stiff. Now, I was totally opposite on Grapevine. I didn't realize that Roger's was a remake at the time because almost everything about the song changed. I was very familiar with Marvin's version (which I still love his haunting version), bu Roger's makes u wanna shake ur ass. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Yeah this one is the shit.
I would say this jam, heartbreaker, and doo wa ditty(blow that thang) are my favorite roger/zapp jams. Don't laugh at my funk

The version on the album is 10+minutes. There is also a single edit that is around 4 minutes that is included on the reissue cd.  **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

You just can't fuck with this jam! Too hot, one of my favorites from Roger for sure. This one and "Heartbreaker" would both be in my Zapp/Roger top 5. |

moderatorThe first Zapp/Roger song I heard. Still love it!  It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.
