it's great, the best thing he's done in 10 years. If you love Lenny you'll love it, if you're a hater don't bother.

I didn't like it. It just chugs along and everything sounds the same. I liked Baptizm

Solid album...Lenny's guitar playing is so vanilla, once you accept that the album is enjoyable. 1 over Jordan...the greatest since

Lenny's better at guitar than I used to think, but he does use Craig Ross for all the heavy lifting. Lenny plays 95% of everything so who cares if he's not Guitar World's MVP?

I agree, way more heart than the last few albums Agreed. I think it's more like his first in spirit and approach then anything he's done in the last 10 years or so. Keep in mind it doesn't sound like the first at all. It's that is has the kinda raw approach that the first has. Sort of. Groundbreaking? Nope. Solid, fun, and entertaining (providing you are a fan), yes, definately. Beware, they are alot of haters around here. Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

it's pretty good. but it suffers from the same problem most of Lenny's material does: after awhile, you just want to turn it off and go listen to the source material.

I like his greatest hits and the 5 album best! I heard the newer singles and thought they were just ok. Maybe I will check out the rest.

In all honesty, I prefer Lenny over the source material. More concise, more listenable in this day and age. He could be accused of thievery sometimes but in my opinion he's made the music his own - it all sounds like Lenny.

I have Lenny's 'It Is Time For A Love Revolution' CD/DVD and I very much so Enjoy the Whole package. ~
Especially the songs in the Heart of the CD~tracks 6 through 11. Another thing I Really Luv is the Dvd that came along with the CD. It holds a string of Lenny's past music video's such as: ~Let Love Rule, Mr.Cab DRiver, Rock and Roll is dead, Fly Away, It Ain't over 'till its over, Lady, Are You Gonna go My Way?, I'll Be Waiting and Where Are We Running? In between the music video's, Lenny is sharing&reflecting Also the CD booklet with the lyrics holds an array of black and white pictures and a few color ones too. Very Nice

It's very good. I like that he still puts out good music. He never gets boring to me. If you are a fan you will enjoy it. Even if you only like 1 or 2 of his cds..... i think you will find this one good too.

It's a good album, but certainly not my favorite. This one and Baptism have been let downs a bit. They have songs on them both that I like a lot, but the albums themselves don't seem to have the kind of cohesion that 5 and Lenny had.

I really like a lot of his tunes, but I can't think of a single album I love all the way through. They always feel empty in the end. My Legacy

Oh SHIT!...Damn Slave!...You couldn't get with this new joint?...I've stated on here several times that I've always liked Lenny. Mainly cuz at least he's a brutha that can play and he wears his influences on his sleeve. For that, Kravitz has been heavily put down like he's the only cat in the history of music to bite. Is he as clever in his bites as Prince has been? No, but P has worn his influences like a big dog. Other cats more in Lenny's scope, such as peers like D'Angelo, has biten a LOT heavier than I've ever heard Lenny do. But yet D gets that pass. As far as this new joint, I think Lenny has done some soul searching, which for any artist, is always a good thing. This album sounds like he put some thought into it and like he didn't just ride on his pop name to get buy. I dig it. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Y'know I respect you and your opinion but I bought this looking for growth in the artist who's career I've followed since 1989 but instead got the same thing as his last 3 albums. One funk jam, a couple of pop tunes and the rest ballads. Then there's the dvd where he let's his slip show and goes on about the creative process and his role in it. All very contrived and fake to me. The set played on the dvd amongst his verbal genius is suppose to be unplugged but there's no audience and it was soul less.
