Florence recalls arriving with Mary Wilson at a Berry Gordy party and being thrown out because she "said a few things" to Diana:

My thing is, when Diana finally went solo, how come Florence wasn't ask to rejoin the group??

Because Flo was burnt out by show business. In 1974, Mary Wilson invited Flo to a show the Supremes (Mary, Cindy Birdsong and Scherrie Payne) were headlining at Six Flags in Los Angeles. Flo was greeted with a huge standing ovation but all she did was bang on a tambourine and didn't sing. Backstage, she said she didn't feel like going back to show business. I also think she wanted to establish herself as a solo artist too. In fact she was making a solo comeback when she died.
