Python Lee Jackson (Early Rod Stewart) - "In a Broken Dream"

I came across this song in a 70s compilation. I'd never heard of Python Lee Jackson, but the voice sounded familiar so I looked them up at allmusic:

When the Australian group Python Lee Jackson found themselves between singers, a young Rod Stewart was hired to record guide vocals for the possible hit "In a Broken Dream" before he achieved major stardom. Recorded in 1969, the track was finally issued in 1972 to cash in on Stewart's solo success. The track made an appearance on Stewart's 1989 box set Storyteller: The Complete Anthology.

Good rock ballad, and I love the screaming guitar solo.
