Missy is so ill as a BG singer

and big to Timbaland
for using the same music
during the chorus
that was the basis for
SWV's "Can We"

I never understood how a producer
would use the same idea twice...
as far as stuff like this
it worked for Mr. Mos'... but that just always
bugged the hell out of me LOL

not to mention her intro & outro
w/ Bus A Bus too

Doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I've always thought of it (and refer to it) as the Timbaland Theme. It's also used on the first Tim/Magoo album. And, of course, it's hot. music

There's all kinds of recycling on the Missy and first Timbaland/Magoo albums!

I think it's just to remind us of the hits they wrote for others. lol

cool

I gotta hear this
Tim & Magoo debut
I had the one with "Fat Rabbit" on it
is that it?

I used to try & keep up
with that Gold Mind/Beat Club stuff
but some of it slipped through the cracks
I believe this was one of them

thanx you guys
"can we get kinky toniiiiight" music
to me this was the illest
usage of that "theme"
"be who you are and say what you feel
because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind."

eek No, that was Tim's solo debut. Before that one, he dropped one with Magoo titled Welcome to Our World in '97. I love that album! The singles were "Up Jumps da Boogie," "Love to Love You (Remix)," and "Clock Strikes (Remix)." Some other great cuts were "Smoke in da Air," "Man Undercover" (one of my favorite Aaliyah joints), "Joy" (a great showcase for Ginuwine and Playa), and the original version of "Love to Love You." To borrow another Tim/Magoo phrase, cop that shit! lol

nod One of my top-10 Timbaland productions easily.

Yes this was (is) the heat.

I liked the fact that they used One In A Million in a sample .....since they both wrote it...
Straight Jacket Funk Affair
