R. Kelly is one lucky bastard. His child-molesting and raping ass should be in jail with all the other sex offenders. He is truly disgusting.

What the fuck is THAT?! And that Lemonade line is un-fucking-believable. R Kelly is a nasty ass trifling ni**a for real. Hey, leave Raheem out of your rant. The brotha is talented. He did make a mistake, though. He let R. Kelly on his track. The law let him go and the proper thing to do is to MOVE ON (and keep any and all teen-aged girls you know away from him). I don't have the "personal" hatred for Kelly that many of you on this site do. For years I bitched about his material being mediocre. I stand firmly on that. If I started judging every artist on their flaws, I'd have no good music to listen to. Raheem has skills. He didn't need Kelly on the track. I am more offended that "Aharruh" had the nerve to hint that Raheem was biting off his middle-of-the-musical-road ass while on his own track. That's flat out offensive. [Edited 7/21/08 19:26pm]

[Edited 7/21/08 16:14pm] Yeah....TP2.com was HORRIBLE!!! To be honest, I really haven't liked much of his material since Chocolate Factory (which was pretty much the Loveland cd). I think that album was definitely his "masterpiece" (since every artist/singer tries to create one every time). Now, his music seems to be more about hooks and hits than good music. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

[Edited 7/21/08 19:26pm] I actually meant that in a joking manner with Raheem. He's cool. It's just that R Kelly's imput in anything overtakes the person he works with and this song was a perfect example of that. We don't even remember the song but we remember R's part in the song talking about treating you like a drive thru in McDonalds and asking some chick if she's likes "lemonade". Dammit that shit is sick! I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

There's a link on the 1st page of this thread to the song. It's a remix to Raheem's song "Customer", I think it's called that, and R guests on it. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I don't condone this AT ALL but just speak with some of your elders that whole "marrying in mid-teens" thing was quite the rage back in their day but back to this "good good piss" lyric wow, what a slap in the face to America's judicial system serves them good [Edited 7/22/08 15:09pm] because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

I have to say some off R.Kelly music is good and I like the 12 Play CD
But all this personal stuff about him is putting me off this guy as a person but i don't know him! MJ, Jerry Lee Lewis, elvis etc..all did really nasty things but people still play their music? Da, Da, Da....Emancipation....Free..don't think I ain't..! London 21 Nights...Clap your hands...you know the rest..

like I said in the Badu thread
only GOD will judge but I know the STANS here of R. Kelly's didn't expect ORGers to not respond unfavorably to something like this same with e.badu... I have no control over the way someone else feels it was simply PUT out there for us to talk about that's like a family member of mine stole from me recently to add insult to injury, he did the shit again and so everytime he comes around I try my best to make him feel this [] big and some will say "don't kick him while he's down.. he knows he was wrong he's human... we family" etc etc... okay that's all peach & understood but since when did he become the fucking victim? because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

I used to be a pretty big fan of his, but after this trial, I don't think I can buy his music anymore. after the TRIAL? you didn't stop when the video came out 5 years earlier? I only stopped buying it when I stopped liking it (i.e., everything after "Happy People"). "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis
