Anxiety needs to give it up for the Q-Bee of the 80's - Songstress Stacey Q Anxy needs to be more respectful to the Q-Bee. Or maybe needs to be educated to the Bee's pop geniousness.
It didn't start with this album, but this was the album that won the hearts of America. With ditty's like the infectious Two of Hearts and the slightly better, yet wildly underrated We Connect, this album was pure pop perfection, filled to the brim with potential hits and dancefloor smashes!. The album inspired Q-Bee wanna bes...like Regina's Baby Love, but they couldn't hold a candle to our beloved Ms Q. Stacey went on to record 3 more beautiful albums, all critically acclaimed yet didn't sell very well. Her rocking follow up to her debut: Hard Machine Going a little underground with the Weather Girls as back ups...The Brilliant Nights like This Then there was her comback album Boomerang which was a mish mash of country, pop, gospel, grunge and spritual music (She's a buddhist). Overlooked and Underrated don't even come close to describing this album. [Edited 7/18/08 14:17pm] Christian Zombie Vampires

Stacey Q is definitely one of my guilty pleasures. The much-ado-about nothing Music Out Of Bounds from Better Than Heaven is probably what I'd consider my favorite, but I've yet to hear the Hard Machine and Night Like This albums.
A nod goes out to SSQ's Synthicide as well! http://www.last.fm/user/somebodyunot

I'm glad I'm not the only one. This week I was freestyling with Missy Elliott in a restaurant booth, and last week I was swimming in Maui with Britney Spears and Usher.

I got this feeling that you're going to stay
I never knew that it could happen this way Before I met you I was fallin' apart but now at last I really know that we are Two of Hearts two hearts that beat as one Two of Hearts I need you! I need you! Two of Hearts two hearts that beat as one Two of Hearts come on,come on In 1986,I laughed at this song but now I can appreciate it for the mindless fun that it is
