Jamerson Basslines: Jackson 5 - "Darling Dear"/ Michael Jackson - "Love Is Here and Now You're Gone"

...

Two of my favorite James Jamerson Basslines, and among the first I tried to learn when I first started fumbling around on the bass...

Darling Dear

...

Actually, this version of "Love is Here" was done in the early seventies, so it could have been Wilton Felder, (or Carol Caye, Bob Babbit, or even Chuck Rainey) on the bass (the original was Jamerson with The Supremes in '67)....

Love Is Here and Now You're Gone
