Alot of rnb boybands around in the newjack swing era. one thing that stood out about Riff was the clean cut image and no posturing or harmony showboating. It didn't seem corny like boyz to men, and their harmonies were much better in my view. The song itself is soft rnb I suppose, but its a gorgeous track.
