Nominate the worst Guitar Solo ever! I say Boz Scaggs Lo Down!

Don't know how many Orgers are gonna visit this thread. But I'm going with "Unskinny Bop" by Poison. I saw the video the other night and forgot how horrible it was.
And even though it's your opinion, I love the solo in "Lowdown". It fits the feel of the song and a lot of people think it's Steve Lukather but it's not. It's Les Dudek.

Whats The Frequency Kenneth? by REM. What the hell was all that about? sounds like a cat dying.

I will agree that it's stupid, obnoxious and unnecessary, but that's kinda CC Deville in a nutshell, isn't it? I never gave that song a chance because shortly thereafter, MTV put 'Something To Believe In' in heavy rotation and I had to drop Poison ASAP.

I nominate Madonna!
Anytime she decides to pick up a guitar and act as though she can play is the worst solo IMO. Whoever said Boz Scaggs doesn't know a thing about music!

"Oh Sherry" by Steve Perry. Not one of Waddy's best moments. "The first time I saw the cover of Dirty Mind in the early 80s I thought, 'Is this some drag queen ripping on Freddie Prinze?'" - Some guy on The Gear Page

That one with EVH is just wrong on all levels..but's it's hysterical. Sounds like what I usually hear in Guitar Center on a Saturday afternoon.

The last time I left myself in a position to have to actually go inside a GC... ...I felt like Wiley Coyote looks in this pic. Whaaat? Nah, I've always dug the lead playing on that song. Two solos where I'm not saying are "bad" or "horrible" but I never dug though personally are the leads on "Shooting Star" by Mick Ralphs/Bad Company and Slash's lead on "Paradise City"/Guns N Roses. You can't ask for a better solo than one that people can hum by memory almost 45 years after it was recorded, right?

It should have been called The Shredder Hall of SHAME!
Well since NDRU & Meloh9 liked them so much. ...Slash ...Stevie Ray Vaughn ...Clapton ...Paco de Lucia ...Scofield & Pastorius And a sincere apology to Amaxx for the severe jacking. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. Hi all,
I have to tell you, that EVH "bad" solo is a fake. Look up Eddie Van Halen + NAMM on youtube to hear the REAL solo. You would be amazed! Mutts
