"I love you" by the Climax Blues Band. A top 20 hit back in 1982, this song sounds like PURE 70's, everything from the sound, to the arranging, to the production. The band itself, was one of those, together for 30 years never had a big hit, well they had 2 and this was one of them. Strangely this song was really nothing like their other songs which were more blues/rock jams. Another reason im drawn to this song was the "rareness" of finding it anywhere. I had it or should i say my brother had it on 45 and i wore it to death back in the day just because it was a great "story" song. But i remember when i starting working in music retail, EVERYONE would come in looking for this song, most of the time for their wedding, and back in the later 80's and through the 90's it was out of print, and even now the only way to get it is on a japan import double cd best of. Just one of those songs, that eluded any collections of ballads, 80's songs, etc..

I love this song!!! You're right,it's extremely hard to find.Whenever I come across a Climax Blues Band compilation,this song is never on it,even though it's one of their biggest hits
