This is one of my favorite late-70s albums! lol The interesting thing is...it's not really a "disco" album at all, with the exception of "Dance With Me" and "You Should Do It".Most of the songs are mellow and moody, not unlike Steely Dan.My favorite song is "For Your Love",a truly hypnotic, breezy number. That's Quiet Storm material right there.I also like "The Singer Becomes The Dancer" and the title track.Peter is very good with melodies....his songs linger in your head long after the record finishes playing.

My cousin used to have this album when we were in middle school.
Dance with me and for your love were my favorite tracks.
Dance with me and do you wanna get funky got extensive play
on R&b radio. Dance with me is still a hot joint today.

Did you guys know that Peter wrote one of the biggest hits of the 80s: "Material Girl" by Madonna?
