SNP, TLC, En Vogue, SWV should all do a tour together!!! Why not?
SWV would open, naturally. Then En Vogue. Then I can't decide who would close - TLC was bigger and sold more records in the long run, but I feel like S & P are bigger stars now bc of their reality show. Wouldn't you go? I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

That would be a nice ass tour!
but I say Total should be there instead of TLC, since they rreally aren't the same without Left-eye If you will, so will I

How the F is Total on par with these other ladies? Did they ever even have a top 10 hit on the BB100????
What would be really hot is if Aaliyah were still alive, and she, Monica, Brandy, and Mary J could all jump on this and it would be an all day festival in the big cities - I would DIE and go to 90s female R&B heaven! I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

I love T-Boz's voice. Noone can talk shit on either of them in my presence, that thread a week or two back dissing T Boz was soooo wrong! She sounded fine on BET! Her mic wasn't even turned up! But...I digress. T and C could still do a great set with the songs L wasn't on - Creep, Red Light, Diggin on You, Unpretty, Dear Lie, Hands Up, Damaged, Baby Baby Baby, etc. It would bet hot! Jade? Total? That's insane. SVW's catalog is nearly as strong as theirs combined, and SWV wasn't nearly as popular or successful as TLC, En Vogue and Salt N' Pepa.
SWV are assured of being the opening act of this hypothetical tour. TLC would be the second act, because of the death of Left Eye. Hopefully, their choreography would be strong enough to keep the crowd moving. Depending on the setting, Salt N' Pepa and En Vogue would alternate as top billing. The final number can be "Whatta Man" with all the acts coming out to sing it.

Total had four top 20 hits on the Billboard Hot Singles chart (why is this a barometer for a soul act, I have no idea): "Can't You See (No. 13)," "Kissin' You (No. 12)," "What about You (No. 16)" and their collaboration with Mase "What You Want (No. 7)." Personally, if you were going with another act in that vein I would take Xscape over SWV, Jade and Total: badujunkie said: What would be really hot is if Aaliyah were still alive, and she, Monica, Brandy, and Mary J could all jump on this and it would be an all day festival in the big cities - I would DIE and go to 90s female R&B heaven!
I know people love to overrate Aaliyah since she died, but there is a '90s artist who is alive and was a bigger success that would fit in better, IMO: I would say a tour of Xscape as the opening act, TLC as the second act and Salt N' Pepa, En Vogue and Toni Braxton alternating as headliners would be the strongest lineup. [Edited 7/12/08 0:29am] It's a barometer for fitting in with THESE acts as all of them - SWV, TLC, En Vogue, S&P - all crossed over to have MASSIVE pop success as well. Far as Toni - yeah, that's an awesome idea, but then I want Brandy too. Toni, Brandy, S&P, TLC, En Vogue, SWV. That's enough right there. Or if we were into mixing it up with the genders then we would have to include Keith Sweat, Boyz II Men, and perhaps Jodeci (though I was never into them, don't really know their music all that well). I swear a 90s R&B tour would be huge! Wonder why Live Nation or AEG hasn't jumped on this yet...you know these people all wanna work. I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

There have been a couple of NJS and 90s tours over the past couple of years. The last one I can recall was last year. You had Guy, Blackstreet, SWV and Tony Toni Tone. I didn't go to the tour, but I know people who did. They said it was a good show. Also, in 05 or 06, Keith Sweat did his Sweat Hotel tour. He had himself, Johnnie Kemp, Silk, and Kut Klose (basically all of the acts he had something to do with). They issued a live DVD a while back that features mostly KS, but Silk does a couple of songs, Johnnie Kemp does his ONE hit and Kut Klose do their one or 2 hits. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
