Jimi Hendrix 4th of July 1970 Jimi Hendrix put on a really good show on the 4th of July 1970 at the Atlanta pop festival. For some reason I never hear this being discussed as much as Isle Of Wight. I prefer this show over Isle Of Wight, Jimi didn't seem as tired.
Jimi played the star spangled banner for the fireworks show at midnight, this is one of many that I wish I could have attended. Did this ever see an official dvd release? not sure, the version I have is professionally shot with opening credits. | |

My other favorite version is Marvin Gaye at the NBA All-Star game in Oakland, CA I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think. |
