Someone did mention Klymaxx on this thread. I see the video you posted is no longer available. We'll be lucky if half the vids from youtube posted on this thread stay available for more than a day, so I'm enjoying them while I can.

..and yes you did send me that "Funkin' for Jamaica" video on a thread a while back...and I loved it!..thanks for that my friend!((hugs)).

Great thread...Sadly, the lead singer of Starpoint died of MS a few years ago.

These songs came at a time when music was fun and didn't take itself too seriously... Not like today's B.S.

Have mercy TrueFunk...now, what's the 80s without the breakers?? We can't leave them behind lol Adidas come to mind, and sweat suits with the white stripes going down the sides, and I the Kango hats...lawd the 80s fashion and music and who doesn't know "The Message?"..What???.lol ..a true classic! I don't think I need to repeat that.. biggrin

What I am noticing is that there were so many music styles of the 80s! No room for jealousy between the artists that's for sure, then we had Michael and Prince rocking the 80s (but uh, we must refrain from posting any of the latter in all due respect, I'm not tryin' to get on Princey's bad side now, love his music, but just have to respect no posting of his videos...okay, back to the 80's dance party we have going on here. I'm having fun reminiscing about the music of that time. In my opinion, it was a fun time and a total trip to escapism from the problems of reality. Just gotta love the 80s...please feel free to post more good stuff.
