Solange - I Decided: part 1 & 2 Whoa this girl has changed, seems very much like an British indie vid. The track is a grower, but I see myself forgetting it.

I kinda like the song...Its nothing special, but its cute
I'm glad shes doing something pretty different from Beyonce, so maybe she'll be able to duck alot of the unfair comparisons If you will, so will I

what does the video have to do with the song? You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

I know the video is kinda weird with all of the historical imagery going on. People getting hosed down and the Chalanger exploding ...but I like the art direction and graphics. [Edited 7/8/08 14:42pm] Thank You San Alejo for getting rid of my enemies. :-0
Thank You SO much Saint Expedite for your help Thank You Virgin de Guadalupe for helping my friend Thank You Saint Anthony for returning my wallet to me untouched

Well Amerie did a whole record like this...meaning DIFFERENT than what was out there and Sony decided america couldnt handle it....or maybe someone at Sony did?? hmm coincidence this change in style? Is this the Freemasons mix? I cant view the frikkin vid on youtube, but i loooove the freemasons version of this. She sounds like shit though - non wonder peepaw Knowles pushed Beyonce first - Solange lags way behind in the talent stakes.

Then how do you give Winohouse a pass and mention her in the same sentence as the Supremes when all that bitch did was rip off the 60s R&B groups?

Same here. It's a nice little ditty and a gracious ode to 60s girl groups. When I first saw the video I kept saying to myself "She looks like Solange but there are 3 of them so maybe it's someone that looks like Solange, plus, Solange does teenie-bopper music". Then I saw the "Sol Angels" on the marquee in the video and then knew it was her. I like the cut. It's a more mature sound and it baffled me at first because I've always thought of her as young but then I forgot, that girl done got married, had a baby, and then divorced. She's a lot more mature now and I like her direction she's headed in, a lot better than her big sis, who's forever locked into her one sound/genre.
