I don't remember shake at all but i remember these two:
Disco Nights Make my dreams a reality Other notable songs i like from GQ are I do love you Sittin in the park Standing Ovation Don't laugh at my funk

Sittin in the park Standing Ovation Those two songs are from their second album,released in 1980.I am desperately trying to find this album! It also contains the amazing slow jam "Don't Stop This Feeling" which was never released as a single but became a Quiet Storm favorite. | |

I never knew they even released a third album. I guess by this time they got loss in the shuffle of all the other r&b bands like cameo, midnight star, barkays,etc. Don't laugh at my funk

I never knew they even released a third album. I guess by this time they got loss in the shuffle of all the other r&b bands like cameo, midnight star, barkays,etc. Yeah.Plus,like many other "disco" artists and bands who had big hits in the late 70s,they suffered from the disco backlash,just like Chic,Heatwave and the others.All three of these bands were still putting out great music in the early 80s,but radio ignored them.I think GQ released a fourth album on an independent label in 1983,but I don't have any details about it. | |
