Love the cut, love the album.
Actually, this is probably my favorite Commodores album It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

In 1976,Motown was planning to release this song as a single but they changed their minds at the last minute. The Commodores had so many top-notch songs in the 70s,their record label had a tough time picking the singles (typically,in those days an album usually had only two singles...sometimes three)."Zoom" is another amazing song that never became a single.

'Hot On The Tracks' would probably be my second or third favorite Commodores album. The self-titled 1977 album is my absolute favorite

Great commodores tune. If only lionel would do songs like this as
a solo artist. Hot on the tracks and the sky blue album is a tossup as my favorite but Caught in the Act is definitely next in line. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

I'm with you Soul. I LOVE the 1977 LP. I remember stealing that LP from my Mom's collection and listening to it behind her back. And I loved the poster.

Yeah that poster and commodore album covers were classic. Someone always had to have their leg kicked up in the air. Don't laugh at my funk

I'm high as hell right now.
On s'mores. Though, now that I think about it, it maybe due to the fact that I've learned that the do-it-for-yourself crystal-meth micro-lab kit that I got from Santa this past Christmas (I was really good last year) could also double as an Easy-Bake oven, & therefor some of my ingredients may have been laced with a bit more sunshine than the recipe required.
