how do u upgrade? is there someone you have to talk to? and also, do u pay the difference for the ticket or do u just trade your ticket for a better ticket?

still high on this show. I'm glad I upgraded my seats. the iTunes tickets I had were pretty good, but I decided to try for better and ended up with 2nd row eek
Nathan just traded our seats (we paid the max) for better seats.

It's fucked up how they hold theses better seats when the fans should have been able to purchase them off the bat.

that's how i got to see david bowie up close when he played with NIN. all the teenybopper brats filed out of the venue when trent was done, so we just abandoned our nosebleed seats and swooped in on all the empty seats they spent all that money on.

George Michael was fantastic! I was so upset with missing him in 1988, but I did spend all my money on Prince's Lovesexy Tour since they both played the then Rosemont Horizon a week apart.

I do say, George was worth the wait. Through out the entire show, I'm dancing singing along and chanting silently to myself for one song. During the encore when the strings to "Careless Whisper" started I almost jumped off the balcony. It was great hearing my favorite Wham/George Michael song. The last song during the first encore. And of course the second encore and last song of the night, "Freedom" was icing on the cake.

When George sang "Kissing A Fool" the asian couple next to me (who asked me to take a photo of them during the 20-minute intermission), stood up and slow danced.

Of course, I would have loved to heard live "I Want Your Sex" or "Monkey" but I was happy with what I heard. I love the graphics.

And who was that woman doing the burlesque swing on the video while George sang "Feeling Good?" I swear I've seen her before.

Thank you George Michael!

my only minor disappointment was not getting Praying For Time, as it's my all-time favorite by him and i know that he's been doing it. that and You Have Been Loved, but i probably couldn't have handled that one considering my response to TFTEISYF.

like i said, only a minor disappointment. the show was fantastic. he sounded incredible.

Yes, but you got Star People and First Time I ever saw your face. He's also been adding Fantasy. We got Praying for Time.

Yeah. I suppose I wouldn't give up the experience of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.... painful as it was.

I have loved George Michael (Wham!) since I was in 3rd grade. I so want to go to the NY concert but none of my friends will go with me (don't want to go by myself) and I really can't afford to spend the money. I know this will probably be my only chance to see him, but I just can't afford it.

Didn't know you could trade for better seats. My wife and I are going to the Houston show..not much buzz out here.. he has a billboard up in the Montrose area (a decidedly gay friendly area of our wonderful city) wonder if I will be the only straight guy there with floor seats lol

You won't be. There were plenty of straight people and couples at the Chicago show. I went with my sister and brother and we're all straight. Also, there were many groups of straight woman, who still fantasize about being with George, shouting and screaming the whole night. Of course there was a large gay presence. The diverse mix of fans was great. Everyone just had an AWESOME time.

Well, if there is ANY way that you can go, I say do it. It really was a once in a lifetime experience. As I said, I rank it right behind my Prince concert experiences and that is HUGE. It's two days later and I am still thinking about it. I've always loved GM but seeing him live took it to another level! I would spend another $150 in a heartbeat to see him again.

It won't matter if you are alone. It was such a party and everyone was partying together. You won't think about being alone. Do it girl! evillol angel
