I loved the way they were advertising the "first rays of the new rising sun" -album like the best kept sacret in music industry, and it turnt out to be all stuff that was previously released many, many times.
Each decade needs its own Cry Of Love!

Really? I thought they had complete creative control over his estate, music etc. - I heard that's why a decent bio-pic hasn't been made of his life. VOTE....EARLY

I wish people would just let James Marshall Hendrix rest in peace man. The guy isnt even here anymore and these cats are trying to capitalize on his name. If this is true good on Graham. Let him keep the tape for himself as a memory and thats that.Young should release that set of unreleased material I would be interested to hear that.

While I sympathise with the 'let him be' sentiments of some Orgers, I admit I do have a sneaking interest in the supposed content of this material and indeed some other unreleased Hendrix material, were such things to be released and presented truthfully and with respect to the late master.
My (uneducated) guess on this Stephen Stills stuff tho is that it's a few jams he and Jimi were involved in at some point. Jamming, after all, was Jimi's main drug of choice . Now, who's diggin' on the complete, unexpurgated 'Black Gold' right now, huh?

Screw the music, I want to see the sex tape of Jimi with Pamela Des Barres and some other groupie. I read about it in the NY Daily News earlier this week. Anyone else hear about this?

What i'd really like to hear are the recordings Jimi made himself on those recorders he used to lug around to clubs. (Buddy Guy, Joni Mitchell, etc.) And don't start with that Black Gold stuff. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn.
