I like this one, but I never picked up the album. I do have and like Princesses Nubiennes. The local R&B station would often play Makeda from that one, and everytime they did, they'd introduce it as from "Less Nubians."

i love me some Les Nubians!
recently caught them at the HOB and was a little disappointed. it was a good show and all, but it seems that either they were working with new musicians or the ones they had just sucked. 
i was also told the last time they came to HOB Chitown, they had a much larger band. this time it was just drums, keys, bass and guitar. anyways, they supposedly have a new album that should be dropping soon. And Rip, if you haven't picked up One Step Foward, go get it, like today!  | |
