Pretty much everything from "Music of My Mind" to "Songs in the Key of Life" in the early to mid-70s is essential, but if you want to cheat:
"At the Close of the Century" is a four-disc set that has practically everything that makes up the essential Steveland Morris. | |

Is there any one album from the 70s that stands out to you? I have Music Of My Mind but didn't love it - it's good but wasn't a real stand out for me. | |

You can start with "Talking Book," which features essential songs "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" and "Superstition" along with ballad staple "You and I." | |

Innervisions is my favorite album of all-time!!! I love Songs in the Key, but I think that there are a few songs there that don't grab me. JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!! | |
