she also looked a bit uncomfortable. perhaps she wasn't feeling well or was nervous about the performnce since left eye wasn't there.

I liked her low register but found it annoying at times and felt refreshed whenever left eye or chilli would jump in. She should have left it to Jody Watley.

she just sang too damn much on crazysexycool that I was relieved to hear no scrubs when it came out, t boz would have ruined it

I like the fact when you hear her you know who she is...yoiu dont have to be the perfect perfect singer to be recognized.

I'm sorry but as much as I liked TLC I wouldn't classify T-boz as a singer at all. It worked within the context of the group but she always sounded like she had a frog in her throat. shrug

C'mon, dudes! Everyone knew that TLC as a whole just couldn't/can't cut it as a group of singers, let alone legitmately-skilled vocalists. Left-Eye was the most captivating individual and she didn't even really sing on their songs. To me, it was all about creativity and image; that of which Lisa was The Army General. I would have loved to see what she could do as a solo artist. There was so much potential, there.

nod I agree about Left Eye, she was very creative and interesting. It's a shame her solo album was never released. I'm sure it was leaked somewhere though.

TLC was a concept act, more than anything. It's no surprise when Left Eye died the concept was no longer valid.

I liked T-boz's voice. I still love her voice, all three of them together meshed well and made the best female group of the 90s. cool

I know most times chilli and tboz would record together and lisa would do her part another time, so Chilli and Tboz's most recent song GameProof is a nice throwback to the TLC days.

Their voices worked really well together.

Well, NOT on the BET performance, but on the records that is. It just sounded like she hadn't really sung live in years to me.

Yep, they were the female version of BBD. At that time, ATL (especially Jermaine Dupris) was copying the biggest acts and then putting a twist on them. Da Brat was the female Snoop. Bow Wow was the kiddie version of Snoop. Toni Braxton was the younger version of Anita Baker.

And yeah TBoz sounded horrible. Maybe it was her Sickle Cell bothering her, who knows?

However, Alicia Keys has the most scrumptious hips in the entire entertainment industry. That chick is truly blessed body-wise.

Probably lol . Good lord Alicia has really "grown up", or at least "grown out" eek . She always said when she was younger, growing up in a rough neighborhood always made her feel like she should dress as unfeminine as possible as a survival technique. I know people from her neighborhood look at her NOW and think " Who knew she was going to grow up to look like THAT?" lol

Btw, those men in the backround looking at her booty are priceless falloff

Why all the TLC hate in here? It's bullshit. Praising Alicia? Please. She doesn't have one tenth of the originality, vivrance, or appeal of any of those girls. Who cares if she is technically stronger 'vocalist' her songs are shit.

I love TLC! TLC FOREVER!!!!! I thought T Boz sounded fine. Chilli LOOKED fine. I miss them...wish they would both drop a solo LP.
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me
