Yeah, R. Kelly was IMO the biggest benefactor to GUY breaking up. Without the group around and Teddy Riley fairly invisible, he was able to copy Teddy's music and especially Aaron Hall's style with few repercussions. By the time Teddy came back with BlackSTREET and Aaron finally released his first solo allbum, R. Kelly had established himself as a hit-maker with their own bag and they never caught up.
