Is he not doing a single show by himself? I don't wanna pay £50 to see 20 minutes of Bootsy and 5 hours of people I don't give a crap about.

...
Oh bum, clashes with Wimbledon Men's final too so I can't go anyway.

It will be cool....He's playing an hour long set too. I'm not interested in alot of the other acts either, but I couldn't miss BOOTSY so close to home!

I only saw him live in concert once many years ago and it was a really good show. If he played in my area I would definitely go nod.
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

i caught him Monday at Summerfest. i know the funk gods may curse me for this, but i was terribly disappointed! no disrespect to the peeps opening for him, but the whole tribute came off a bit amateurish. i kept thinking i was at some type of talent show.

when Bootsy finally did take the stage i was a bit to pissed and disappointed to get into his set. i actually left before it was over, though those who staged said it eventually got hype. seriously, if this whole set is a tribute to James Brown, they should've kept it to themselves or saved it for a back yard BBQ.

Come on Bootsy!! you could've done better than this line up! One positive thing i will say is that everyone playing with Bootzilla was James Brown alumni. though, those formally known as the hardest working band seems like they should be at home collecting their SSI rather than being part of this tribute. confused

sorry Bootsy, I still love you, man! horns

BTW, one of the items part of the tour merchandise are those funky sunglasses Bootsy used to rock back the day, I would've got a pair but my cousin beat me to it! mad

i saw him some years back, too and to this day it was one of the funkiest sets i've had ever witnessed by anyone! can't say the same about his latest tour.

I saw him back in the early 90's at Brixton Academy and he was great.I expect him to maybe play some James Brown stuff on Saturday cuz that's what he's touring with at the moment, but I hope the majority is Rubber Band stuff! Gotta hear Mug Push again....
