Teena Marie butchered portuguese with "Portuguese Lover" 
The few words she says in portuguese are not portuguese... And I'm Portuguese! Still...I love the song! It's should be "Amor português"...not "amore portuguese...." [Edited 7/2/08 5:40am] | |

Before slamming an artist on how they use words in a song, granting that they have artistic license and can bend grammar and language in any way that fits the music...

I'm just tired of people, and above all, americans, not getting that the portuguese language is not the same as Castilian. These errors are constant in mainstream media...and sometimes even in literary circles. | |
